Common Mistakes in IELTS Reading Test

Many candidates who have already International English Language Testing System exam or IELTS exam think about reading section of IELTS as one of the most difficult parts of the exam. This would be the normal reaction of the candidates by reading section of IELTS can be quite difficult and boring passages, covering all kinds of topics. Therefore, it is best to know the skills and strategies for reading section. What is more useful is to know the common mistakes in reading IELTS? To know this means that the candidate will know what to avoid when taking consideration of the reading.

1 Spend too much time on one question.

Time dedicated to the reading section is limited. Thus, the candidates do not have the luxury to spend too much time analyzing a question. If you are faced with a difficult question, mark this number and move to the next question. It is important to keep in mind that it is better to answer many questions than to remain an issue for a long time.

2. Learn the types of tests. 

Most candidates commit mistakes due to not have of information on the types of tests used in the examination IELTS. Best candidates to be known with how to answer these types of tests. Each type of test has special skills on how to respond successfully. They are quite different. If the applicant knows the specific task of type test, but then avoid errors due to better score.

3. Instructions are ignored.
