IELTS Writing Topics for Academic Module Task 2

The International English Language examination testing System or IELTS is a popular test of English language competence worldwide. Millions of non-native English speakers take the challenge of this exam for obtain a certificate of their fluency in the use of English. Among the four language skills, the writing part is said to be difficult - especially issues related to academic module exam IELTS.

IELTS writing section on two tasks. The first task where candidates must write an essay based on a chart or graph presented. In the second task, the candidate is given the task to write a clear and reasonable argument on a given topic. Topics covered in this task can be easily understood by people who are undergraduate or postgraduate level. Applicants are asked to write at least 250 words in 40 minutes. For candidates who excel in this section, there is a huge need to get familiar with general or even the most popular topics in IELTS Academic Module Task 2. Therefore, here are some of the topics that are often used in writing Academic Module Task 2.

Many newspapers and magazines feature stories about the private lives of famous people. We know what they eat, where they buy their clothes and who love you. Nowadays, many students have the opportunity to study for part or all of their courses in foreign countries. While studying abroad has many benefits for individual students, it also has several drawbacks. You agree or disagree?

In some countries, young people have less free time and are under pressure to work hard in their studies. What do you think are the reasons? What solutions can you suggest? Give good reason for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
